Celtic Fest
Join organizations from across the region as we celebrate all things Celtic.
Join the festivities! There will be small performances throughout the day with Kyle Banta on bagpipe and Allen Barnett on accordion. Visit community partner booths from Steele School of Dance, Ireland Canada Monument, White Spot Pipe Band, West Coast Calligraphy Society, Irish School Vancouver, and more. “Artists for Student Success”

Join us March 4-6, 2022 for the fifth annual early-spring edition of the West Fine Art Show, dubbed “Artists for Student Success. One of BC’s most popular art events we present an exceptional line-up of 18 artists and the rare opportunity for visitors to meet each artist. In addition, a special display titled “Emerging Young Artists” will showcase student art. This destination art show, with free admission, is organized in partnership with Langley School District Foundation and 25% of all art sales at the show will be donated to the Foundation by the show’s artists. Fraser Valley Stage presents Nunsense, the second longest-running Off-Broadway show in history. World Water Day at the Abbotsford Ravine Park Salmon Enhancement Society Hatchery
Spiritual Path to Awakening (SPA), in partnership with the United Church Earth Stewards, invites you to celebrate World Water Day on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:00 pm at the Abbotsford Ravine Park Salmon Enhancement Society Hatchery. During the event, Dale Taylor, president of Abbotsford Ravine Park Salmon Enhancement Society (ARPSES) will give a talk about the processes that the salmon go through, from egg stage to their release into local streams. Attendees will see the fry salmon in their indoor “incubation” tank and learn about the activities of the Stream Keeper volunteers who help to ensure the health of salmon habitat.

The North parking lot will be transformed into a magical skating rink, with food trucks and a life-size snow globe.
All proceeds from skate rentals will be donated to the Surrey Hospital Foundation.

The event this year will run every night from November 26 to December 19 from 5 to 9 pm. This extended time will mean there should be no need to purchase tickets and have extensive traffic controls. Come check out the beautiful Christmas light displays set up in Williams Park! The event will be DRIVE THROUGH only with no access to parking or washrooms so please attend to your needs before you come to the park. There is no fee to enter (and if it’s not busy you are free to go around the park more than once) but we are always happy to take any financial donation you can spare to keep the event alive…. we will again provide a tap option to donate for those who do not carry cash…. and that keeps us touch-free!

It’s that time of year again! Bring a friend and browse some beautiful one-of-a-kind creations from local artists who are part of the Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA). Art is a wonderful gift for the holidays. The SAGA Gift Shop and their Art Rental Program is a great source of inspiration for gift-giving, with items ranging from handmade silk scarves and original paintings to intricately designed jewelry, funky sculpture, well-crafted pottery, functional woodworks, homemade jams and jellies, and more. Members receive 15% (memberships available on site). The Heart to Home Holiday Market takes place in the Studio Theatre at Surrey Arts Centre.

iMADE Pop Up Market
November 6 and 7, 2021 11 am – 4 pm

iMADE pop up market supports and advocates for the local BC artists, artisans and micro businesses and has been hosting events since 2017. This year, we have taken iMADE local on the road to the Township of Langley at the beautiful Fort Langley Community Hall located on Glover Rd. Come support local small businesses and shop small. It just feels good. Admission is FREE and masks are required but not vaccine cards as we are not a ‘seated’ or ‘ticketed’ event.

Christmas in Williams Park
November 26 – December 19, 2021 – 5;00 – 9:00 pm
The event this year will run every night from November 26 to December 19 from 5 to 9 pm. This extended time will mean there should be no need to purchase tickets and have extensive traffic controls. Come check out the beautiful Christmas light displays set up in Williams Park! The event will be DRIVE THROUGH only with no access to parking or washrooms so please attend to your needs before you come to the park. There is no fee to enter (and if it’s not busy you are free to go around the park more than once) but we are always happy to take any financial donation you can spare to keep the event alive…. we will again provide a tap option to donate for those who do not carry cash…. and that keeps us touch-free!

Are You Ready for Some Halloween Fun?

Get ready for some Halloween fun with the Pumpkin Train (daytime) and Halloween Scare Train (nighttime) at Bear Creek Train and Mini-Golf

Pumpkin express for the little ones Oct 9th -31st from 10 am – 4:30 pm. No online tickets just walk in. Under 2 are free.
Cost: $11.50 per person/under the age of 2 is free. This includes a train ride through the decorated forest, a treat, and a pumpkin! Concession is available.

Halloween Scream Train (Night Time) 2021

Maan Farms Family Halloween Attractions – Abbotsford, BC

Abbotsford’s Maan Farms is welcoming guests to their pumpkin patch again this year.

They say Maan Farms is. “a place for families & friends to create magical memories through experiences that focus on Farm, Food & Fun.”

At the farm, you will find several spooky attractions Including a haunted corn maze in a haunted forest. On their website, they also have an attraction called Pitch Black and they say, “ A venture into the unknown and into your worst fears.“

Guests can also learn about farm animals and poop!

The event is open rain or shine. Proof of vaccination is not required under current provincial health orders because the event is held outdoors.

Brinkworth Dungeon presents Revenge of the Mummy plus Silent Hill Asylum.

The Dungeon recently added another 1600 ft.² totaling over 5000 ft.² of handcrafted horror.
