Sipping + Slaying: Networking for Women in Business

I’m looking forward to joining licenced realtor Amy Dewaele and mortgage professional Rebecca Casey for an evening with local likeminded women who share an entrepreneurial passion November 7, 2017. 7:00-9:00 pm at TAP Restaurant, 101 15350 34 Ave South Surrey, BC.

The evening will be full of opportunities to meet with other local business owners in the South Surrey + White Rock neighbourhood.

There will be delicious canapes from TAP Restaurant, a robust selection of wines for purchase, a guest speaker to inspire and educate, swag bags full of goodies AND raffle prizes sponsored by some of the attendees.

All attendees will be featured in a business index that will be distributed in the swag bags. It will be an opportunity for you to show case your business and what makes it tick.

Amy says:

“Sip + Slay is a unique opportunity for like-minded female entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate.  It’s amazing how much business can be generated by getting similar people in the same room together!  The opportunity to promote their business and have a great night out with fellow entrepreneurs and friends they have made in the process is what will keep people coming back”.

Rebecca adds, “We wanted to connect the many incredible, generous and ambitious women we bump into in the community and trip over online on a regular basis. We wanted to find a way to band together and unleash some incredible entrepreneurial potential.”

Amy has lived in South Surrey for almost 10 years and says “I love it because it’s a seaside community and there is something about living by the ocean that can’t be beat!  The proximity to the rest of the Fraser Valley and Vancouver is also a big bonus. I’m lucky to live in a community that sells itself!Rebecca moved here in 2012 and says “I love being so close to the ocean.

Amy is a realtor with Coldwell Banker Marquis Realty, and says “I love being able to walk people through the process of buying or selling a home and supporting them beyond when they turn the key to their new home.  I also love showcasing my community through my work as a realtor, knowing the community inside and out and sharing it with my clients is not only very important but also rewarding.”

Rebecca is a Mortgage Professional with Custom Coast Mortgages and is focused on providing financing for the first time home buyer, existing home owner, and property investor. “Joining the real estate industry as a mortgage broker has been something I’ve been working towards for many years and I’m so happy to finally be able to help people by sharing my expertise and extremely stacked network of partners”.

Amy shares, “My favourite thing about Sip + Slay is meeting new people and forging new business relationships and friendships.  No big challenges, everyone who attends is very excited to be a part of it and the planning process is a pleasure because it is such a fun night.”

Rebecca exclaims “I love meeting some amazing makers, moms, businesswomen and entrepreneurs. I can’t wait!”
