New jazz and arts festival coming to Fort Langley this summer
Music line-up and festival details to be announced at kick off event: Saturday, May 12 at 11 am, Fort Langley Community Hall
Fort Langley is about to get its first ever outdoor jazz and arts festival this summer on Saturday, July 28.
The first annual Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival will announce its music line-up and other festival news at a kick-off event on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 am in front of the Fort Langley Community Hall.
The festival kick-off event will feature:
- performances by a local Dixieland jazz band, RazzMaJazz Ensemble and Kwantlen First Nations elder Farley Antone, who will perform a song to bless the festival;
- remarks by Township of Langley Mayor Jack Froese and representatives from festival sponsors, the Fort Langley Community Improvement Society and the Fort Langley BIA;
- screening of a new festival video
