On Saturday January 27th, the members of Chilliwack’s 54 Engineer Squadron are are opening the doors of the Mess Hall to the public, in support of a great cause.
Put on your most dapper duds and step back in time to eat, drink, dance, and party the night away in support of Wounded Warriors Canada- an organization that honours and supports Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and their families through a national slate of mental health programs and services that are adaptive, innovative and evidence-informed. Their programming provides life changing and family saving results for our Veterans, First Responders and their families.
The service families in Chilliwack and across the valley know first hand the impact programming like this can have on individuals and families in the service community- and it’s for this reason that we’re hoping to make the 1940s Canteen Dance an annual institution in Chilliwack- with your help.!
Your $25 ticket to Chilliwack’s First Annual 1940s Canteen Dance includes a free drink, unlimited snacks and sweets, and entry into the door prize draws, which include some incredible prizes from local businesses across the valley!
This is a themed event, so get on your best 1940s duds, prepare your tastebuds for some yummy vintage cocktails, and strap on your dancing shoes- the evening will include food, drink, dancing, costume prizes, cigar bar, door prizes, private patio, 50/50, and some amazing grand prizes to be raffled off!
